Congratulations to students at St Augustine’s Priory, Ealing, who have achieved excellent results in their GCSE examinations. An outstanding 42% of all grades were 8-9 and 66% of all grades were 7-9. Headteacher, Mrs Macallister, commented, ‘I am thrilled for our Year 11 students and delighted to see our school achieve such excellent results year after year. The students’ accomplishments demonstrate their enjoyment of learning and dedication to their studies. Congratulations to them all.’
These results follow the School’s outstanding A Level results announced last week and provide a strong foundation for future academic success.
The overall GCSE results at St Augustine’s Priory were as follows:
20% of all grades were Grade 9.
42% of all grades were Grades 8-9
66% of all grades were Grade 7 or above.
Yara shared how proud she was having achieved 7 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s, saying “School really helped keep me on track and gave me tips along the way. I was really happy with my high physics grade in particular. I’m excited to stay on for my A levels at St Augustine’s as the teachers are amazing, it feels like a family here and I know the A level results are fantastic too; the support we get really pays off”.
Among the other student highlights, Year 11 student Nicole achieved 9 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8, while Giorgia achieved 8 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s and Claudia achieved 7 Grade 9s and 3 Grade 8s. Congratulations also to Amba, Esinam, Ilona, Molly and Lily who all achieved 10 GCSEs of Grades 7-9. Giorgia commented that “ever since I joined St Augustine’s in Year 7, I’ve loved it so much; the teachers really helped me achieve these grades and even outside of classes giving me motivation and encouragement”.
A wide variety of subjects received only top grades, including Computing (100% Grades 7-9), Economics (100% Grade 9), French (100% Grades 7-9), Further Maths (100% Grade 9), Latin (100% Grades 8-9) and
Russian (100% Grades 7-9).
