Box Hill School is rightly proud of its A Level and IB results, and this year’s achievements by their GCSE students are no different.
Hayden (pictured) with the school’s Headmaster was “ecstatic” when he opened his results, seeing that he had gained eight grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 6.
Student Katya said from the day she enrolled, Box Hill has felt like the epitome of warmth and friendliness. “To me, Box Hill has always been a welcoming and friendly community,” she says. “The staff here create such a special and positive atmosphere to help us succeed.” Katya now looks forward to the next steps in her education, with an excellent set of GCSE grades, all 7-9 grades and an additional grade 5 in Further Maths.
Almost a quarter of students secured grades 7-9 in their subjects and almost two-thirds scored 5-9s (formerly B-A*) in their exams, the results are a great testimony to the incredible effort from staff and students. Box Hill School’s pass rate is yet again above the national average.
Corydon Lowde, Headmaster at Box Hill School said “Congratulations to all our GCSE students on their results. As they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, whether that be to study A Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB), we are confident they will continue to thrive. It’s especially pleasing to see our continued championing of holistic, non-selective education delivering success stories across the board.”
